Fruits at 5-10 years old, mature trees are freeze tolerant to the low 20's, one of the top 100 most delicious fruits on the planet. Taste is similar to Sabara Jaboticaba (see above) but larger fruit (up to 4cm), thicker skin with a longer hold period (3+ days unrefrigerated) after harvest, firmer flesh, and a more mild but satisfying flavor that you can eat pounds of per sitting. 60%+ pulp by weight, produces at 5-10 years old and bears a few times per year after 2-5 years of fruiting if kept irrigated and fertilized. Needs daily watering and pH <7.5 either by water, soil, or amendments. Perfect for container culture.
